Former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich midfielder, Xabi Alonso,
has revealed he is moving into football management, after retiring at
the end of last season.
The 35-year-old hung up his boots after the 2016/2017 campaign .
Alonso has now disclosed the next step in his career.
“After 17 years in the game, I have considered the next step in my career.
“I have decided to go into management. Find out [where] soon,” he wrote on his Instagram page.
Alonso won two Champions League trophies, a La Liga crown and three
Bundesliga titles, as well as the 2010 World Cup with Spain, during his
playing career.
