The U-23 national team, otherwise known as the Dream Team, on Thursday held their first training session in Mbour, Senegal ahead of the kick off of the U-23 Nations Cup.
The Samson Siasia lads were last the team to arrive as all the participating teams have now arrived Senegal.
The Nigerians arrived in Senegal in the early hours of Thursday for their campaign to pick a ticket for the football event of next year’s Rio Olympics in Brazil.
The delegation of 21 players, 10 officials touched down at the Leopold Senghor International Airport, Dakar at1am local time aboard an Arik Airline flight and were received by the head of chancery Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Haruna Musa, on behalf of the ambassador.
After airport formalities, the team was immediately taken by road to M’bour, venue of its first two group games, and later arrived the hotel reserved for them, the Framissima Palm Beach, at about 3am local time.
